hijab fashion

Wrapped tightly about her abayas head, without having softly draping fabric to distract her through conferences at her tech startup, Dilara Sayeed’s hijab is American in more approaches than just one.

Her hijab, or Muslim headscarf, features a sleek, Experienced profile that is mostly viewed during the U.S.

As well as spirit with which Sayeed, a former Democratic applicant for the Illinois House of Reps, wears her hijab is American too. When Sayeed’s Indian-born father questioned her decision to address her hair at age 19, declaring, “You’re in the united states now; you don’t have To accomplish this,” Sayeed’s comeback was the things of the highschool civics class:

“It’s simply because I’m American that I can elect to protect, Daddy.”
